Um. Oooh. I finished The Cardigan and it is worn with love and warmth during the Winter!
I knit up a few Ball-With-Bell bananas and am getting set to stich them up for J's Baby and am getting set to start on L's Baby's, now.
The last few bananas were knit in line at Dragon*Con while waiting for the BattleStar Galactica MegaPanel, "So Say We All," and then again while waiting for Edward James Olmos' Q&A to start.
Lotsa people were knitting during Dragon*Con, including a few of us in the SpaceTrack "What's Next for JPL" panel. It was cool. Nuts to Eric "Slowhand" Clapton- he thinks (or thought) knitting was not Rock&Roll enough to be enjoyed on his tourbus (according to Pattie Boyd's biography, anyway...) Knitting IS awesome. If it's good enough for Dragon*Con, it's good enough fer me!
